Song Of The Week: A Track That Will Move You To Tighten Up And Manage Your Time Wisely (Like I Did)
I'm giggling because I may literally owe you an entire PLAYLIST of #SongOfTheWeek(s) by now considering I've been off my blog for weeks!
In brief, I've been focused on attaining an opportunity that I knew would take my career to another level and quite possibly be life changing. Fast forward a few (okay, more than a few) weeks... I landed that same opportunity! Thank you, God.

Before I get into the #SongOfTheWeek, know something of my time away: I haven't stopped thinking of those of you who look forward to reading or watching what we have to contribute every week. I'm happy to be online again! And, I am actually proud of myself for taking a step back from contributing to Dream Nation TV and Corvaya Daily (my personal blog) to fully commit myself to moving forward in my career OFF line because guess what, that life matters too.
I believe that as we climb the ladder toward success, we naturally enlighten and motivate those in our atmosphere. That's what I live to do. I also believe that as I continue to set goals and accomplish them, I'm able to provide better content for you as what I write here is likely inspired by my personal and professional experiences.
Don't get it twisted, I have not always been this productive or selective with how I spend my time. It took a strong and conscious effort over the course of countless long days and sleepless nights.
"They call us dreamers but we're the ones that don't sleep."
With that said, I want to ask you what have you committed yourself to recently? How have you been spending your time? Have you seen positive results? And are you satisfied with the answers to those questions?
Take a listen to my selected #SongOfTheWeek: 28,000 Days by Alicia Keys. I've got a feeling the lyrics will touch you as they have touched me but if nothing else, make you feel good.
...more feeling good in 2016.
Blood in my eye, hand on my heart
Feet on the ground, head to the sky
Cause trouble ain't no friend of mine
Ain't no giving it up, no more wasting time
If you had 28 thousand days
Who would you love? Where would you go?
What would you celebrate?
I'm telling you that life's too short to just throw it away
So have the time of your life, so have the time of your life
...and to think that the average human life is actually short of 28,000 days long.
Glad to be back Dreamers, let me know what you think.
