I haven't always followed my dreams. As a young person and adolescent, I found them difficult to follow, because I didn't know how to interpret them. I've found a new fearlessness and understanding in adulthood, and following dreams has played a very large part in my adult experience.
What Is The Greatest Challenge You Have Overcome?
The greatest challenge I've overcome, is one that I'm still overcoming. I sometimes find myself consumed with the opinions of others, and self-comparison. I think these feelings or behaviors are inevitable for artists, and the realization that they're destructive and non-productive is a challenge that I have to check myself on on the regular.I keep myself level-headed and focused by talking to my parents regularly, and continually surrounding myself with things and images that inspire me.
What Is Your Advice To Other Dream Chasers?
My advice to those that have a dream, but are afraid to try: Set a date by which you want to have said dream set in motion, write everything down (thoughts, ideas, etc... we forget so much of what we think.), don't ask for to much advice from others... no one sees the vision like you, and listen to Mountains and Molehills by PJ Morton
